I think I might have been either drunk or delerious. But this is outside Helsinki Cathedral. It had been a big night out the previous night... Saturday night out in Helsinki is lots of fun!!!

  • About your comments on the clip: Helsinki Cathedral has never been an orthodox church. Finland has been a protestant country since the sixteenth century. This was also the case during the autonomy under Russia (Grand Duchy of Finland 1809-1917). There has always been an orthodox minority, but this church has nothing to do with it.

  • Ah! Thanks for clearing that up for me... I was a little confused. I thought it was a Lutheran church?

  • It is a Lutheran church. Mikael Agricola who first translated the Bible to Finnish was a pupil of Martin Luther and Erasmus of Rotterdamn. There is a statue of Luther inside the church.
