I saw a documentary with the two of them singing "Elijah Rock" and it was, by far, one of the most memorable things I've ever seen. Dinah kept right up with Mahalia and that wasn't an easy thing to do. Just wonder and spiritual.

Thanks for the posting these again...watching Dinah sing with Mahalia, Peggy Lee, Ella, and Pearl Bailey is amazing. These videos were pulled some time ago by the company that owns the rights. Don't they realize by letting people view episodes of the Dinah Shore show that are over 40 years old they are creating a new fan base? Anyways these old shows are from the golden age of television. I love these duets. They make me very happy.
