ALMS 2008 Long Beach Grand Prix Footage

Exclusive up-close footage of nearly the entire American Le Mans Series field from the 2008 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. It was an incredible race and just the thrill of seeing the world's greatest racecars on the track was more than worth the admission. Check out some incredible driving and one close call, plus the exhaust note of a Ferrari F430GT and the cars echoing through a tunnel. Enjoy!

Haha I admit it was perhaps an over-reaction but imagine being inches away from those cars at that corner; video does not do it justice. I know, i would love to see an ALMS race. Pity i live in scotland then. I've been at an F1 race before but i'd still do anything to hear one of those Acuras in real life.

i was also at the race and i agree with everyone. excellent times, excellent cars. great vid. although the real excitment is being there in person. standing at the fence just inches away from the cars. nothing can compare to the sounds these cars make.

I was also at the race on saturday...I was stunned at how quiet the Audi R10 was...This is a great video.

I was also at the race and it is interesting to note how the video footage does not portray how incredibly LOUD and awesome these cars sound, especially in the tunnel.
