How does a Guru show his love for his students?
By being knowledgeable, full of wisdom and compassion, holding vows, listening to our problems for hours, teaching the dharma to help us solve our own problems, scolding, giving of gifts, teasing and joking with students, help us find our inner Guru and more... whew! If that is not love, what is then?
How we show our love to our Guru is by attacking out angry mind.

I'm still laughing at the "do you think Jamie is overweight" question... I couldn't fathom who would even consider it!
More seriously, concepts of over/underweight are not the actual meat on your bones, but the perception of them through our eye-consciousness, which as taught by the Buddha, is inherently flawed. Therefore, these dualities, based on flaw, themselves must be flawed, and thus, discarded.
