A translation of the article about Dumbledore's awesome leadership:
Dumbledore combines two ways of leadership. In the first place he is a very charismatic leader. An inspiring role model, the greatest wizard of all times, everyone admires him and has respect for him. Every wizard wants to be like that. The leader brings people in action and makes them strive for the best possible, also known as transformational leadership.
In the second place Dumbledore lets Harry Potter and others find thing out for themselves. He hands them their tools, but does not tell them how to use them. Firstly this does lead to irritation and anger, but eventually it leads to the right solution. This way could also be called participative or empowering leadership.
The nice thing about recent research by Frouke de Poel of the Rijksuniversiteit in Groningen (University in a city in the Netherlands ;p) is that it appears that this combination of these two ways is important for innovation, being welcoming towards change and achievement. On the one hand the charismatic leader brings us inspiration and guidance, on the other hand the participative leader makes sure that people will see for themselves, that they will take decisions themselves and will be effective doing so. So Dumbledores ways are actually most modern.

omg, I haven't watched the video yet but just read the article and it's so funny because just yesterday I studied stuff about different leadership styles for my social psychology exam. If I get a question about it then I'll tell them about Dumbledore! :)
