Featuring music & songs by Queen, from MacGillivray Freeman Films, producers of the blockbuster hit Everest, comes the giant screen story of THE ALPS: its breathtaking beauty, harmonious culture, perilous avalanches and irresistible allure to a mountaineer on a personal journey to make peace with the mountain that killed his father.

Brave guy and an astounding achievement no doubt, but the logic of "honoring my father" by doing the same risky activity that killed him escapes me. Personal glory must play some role in his motivation, no?

simply amazing! Wonderful sceneries, sights full of inspiration and my beloved music by Queen :-) my friends, who complain here... I've been watching this is 1080p on my 26" monitor 50cm away from it with a 5+1 speaker system and everything was fine :-)
