As the conflict in Afghanistan becomes increasingly
unpopular, a group of veterans came to Washington, DC to show lawmakers the perspective of soldiers and afghan civilians. Priya Sridhar talks to one of the former soldiers about U.S. options in Afghanistan.

Most veterans I see who come back this way either worked a desk job. Or were picked on BADLY. Notice the only expierance this guy mentions is driving by a school that was blown up by a suicide bomber. Makes it sound like he drove to the base each day and saw that before he got on his typewrite or computer. The suicide bomber who blew up that school is exactly why they are there in the first place. What good is building school if they will be blown up again. First destroy the enemy then rebuild

Russians are the ones trying to take land. Every country they marched through on the way to berlin they kept. Every country the west marched through regained indepedance and we went home. While there are many veterans that have realized The Truth and no longer support the war, there are still others who love it. They serve as mercs or "armed contractors". They are replacing US military in Iraq and Afghan. Thousands of civilian contractors hired by the DOD so its still the US taxpayers money. This is another deception by the US govt on the public - Obama draws down the troops only to replace them with mercs, drones and other contractors with the aim of "hunting down terrorists".
