I'm soon going off my Parent's Health Insurance in Jan. of 2010 and I'm still in collagefor another semester. I'm not sure what to do. I've hear about 'universal healthcare(?)'. But what is it? Government owned? Provided for a fee? The news really does not talk about what it really is.
I'm a first year med student in the Netherlands and I'm kinda shocked that you actually get lower quality meds if you can not cough up an (apparently?) expensive health insurance... Sounds horrible, say what, if you come to the Netherlands I'll make sure you get proper treatment! ;)

You have a sulfa allergy now, and it is anaphylactic don't take any Bactrim or anything with the prefix: sulfa (sulfamethoxazole, sulfadiazine, sulfacetamide, and any other sulfonamide) as well as let your pharmacy know because there are tons of drugs derived from sulfonamides that don't have the prefix sulfa
