Not only that, but one of the guys that worked with him before he quit due to heene's fame craze, heene became obsessed with the fact that his controversy with the psychic from wife swap gave him his fame. He talked about how its whats controversial makes him have fame. So I would say its definitely after wife swap that he became truely sick for fame. He is sick, not evil.

If the em field shows a resonable difference in the storm compared to the controls then yes, it is a big thing. The EM components of storms has been hypothesized even before richard heene took interest in it. Looking at RH's history before wife swap, his fame hunger didn't take over his mind tell after wife swap.
