"Let Him Fly" was on Patty's debut album Living with Ghosts and it gives me chills every time I hear it. She sings it with a lot of soul. One of my all-time favorite songs on one of my all-time favorite albums.

yes its her song... Dixie Chicks and Jessica Simpson both do it wonderfully but Patty wrote it.

This and the song Flaming Red really justify why Patty's music has been covered by a couple DOZEN artists! The Dixie Chicks alone have done at least 4 songs I can think of, offhand..

I agree as well. Although no one compares to Patty, she's absolutely wonderful and amazing. I do believe though, that Jessica did a wonderful job remaking the song.
