Interesting! I never noticed that. It does make it intimate but isn't that a bit sloppy of the director not to "cut" at that point...?

Yeah, it is funny because if you look at several times it totally breaks the barrier makes it more intimate!

At around 7:28 Stephanie Beachem looks directly into the camera at the viewer and technically breaks the barrier between actor and viewer. She know that so looks at our right to the director to see if she scene should be redone but she gets no reaction so she continues her acting by sitting down!

Wow, I never noticed that before. Love your blooper-related comments. :) Perhaps the frantic shooting schedule had something to do with the director not wanting to repeat the scene. I read that at one point they had to begin shooting 2 episodes at the same time, to manage to produce all 25 episodes of season 2 that aired within 6 months, basically an average of 1 episode per week. Normally you need at least 8 days just to film an episode of an hour-long drama.
