A couple of Riffs running through the hot channels on these excellent heads. With my camera being rubbish, I'm disappointed with the amount of sound compression, but hopefully this will give an idea. The sounds in this clip are straight into the amp, no pedals etc. I think this shows the quality of the amps and the gain available, It's also worth considering that these amps are running very quietly, (around 8.00) and still have more gain available. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me line.

  • you have an interesting style

  • Many Thanks! I normally think of my style as a real mess, but 'interesting' is certainly good in my book. If you get the chance, the finished version od this riffage is on my bands site. let me know what you think. Cheers

  • Why didnt you have 12 O ClOCK on everything when you compared the two?

that would have given better test result.

    Great Amp the Modena :)

  • Ah, something I failed to think about at the time. To be honest I spent so long tweaking the amps, that I figured that this and the clean demo's were a good demonstration. I don't think this clip does either amp a disservice, as they both sound amazing.

  • Yeah, I loved the Elmwood but for me the Splawn just fits my playing that much better. The Elmwood has now moved on and I am thoroughly enjoying my QR/Nitro combo. Mighty sounds all round. Cheers

  • After spending a good deal of time with both, I decided that the Splawn was the noise for me. The clean may not be so organic sounding, but overall I love the feel of the Splawn amps. So much so that I recently got me a Nitro, which is equally amazing. The Elmwood is now going to be up for sale so if anyone would like the Modena, feel free to drop me a line. It's set to run at European voltages. Cheers.

  • Again, I think you should suck me off asshole. I would go back to school but your mom insists I stay home and fuck her, sorry.

  • You tell me to suck you and I'm the fag. Ignorance is bliss. Also I HAVE and I'VE are the same thing. Go back to 3rd grade and learn the English basics you fucking buffoon.

  • suck me fag. i have, and i've played better.

  • Well the Splawn just sounds clearer to me. It's like the subdued bottom end serves it well.

  • Come on man, you know you have never played or even seen either of these heads.
