These laws are completely ignoring the hobbyists. We have invested countless hours and usually +$1000 for recreational use or rc planes equipped with cameras that get live video to the ground.

If guns don't kill people but people do, shouldn't the issue be about people spying on other people, not drones? We can't ignore hobbyists like me. I'm 19 years old freshman, and instead of spending any time on video games, I fly FPV. Learned so much about radio frequencies etc.

    Don't ignore hobbyists.

Some one call the police. The New York Times not only criticized socialism but actually showed the bill of rights with out using adequate censors. This is clearly a crime against the owners of the paper. Some one send help b4 it happens again.

I just wanted to bring attention how most of these laws are completely ignoring the hobbyist. I know that a lot of people really value their privacy and I completely understand that they don't want to have government watching over them 24/7.

Except this is specifically about the government using drones to spy.

You have a drone? Fine. We don't want institutional drone spying by government agencies. Its not complicated. YOU are not what the issue is about. The issue is about government agencies maintaining constant surveillance of the citizenry.

Police and military personnel will tell you that drones will benefit the country because now someone does not have to give up there life to handle the job. The truth is, it is their job they are going to give up and it is EVERYONE's life! Only a moron would believe that introducing drones either internationally or locally will be effective. Drones will deteriorate the quality of life of every living creature and will only serve to feed the pale horse.

Nobody is considering the positive uses of drones and the fact that they are extremely helpful to many people. People use them for search and rescue as well as many other recreational uses. There needs to be careful legislation as for our country to stay with the times the legislation has to be directed towards the government use and not personal uses. If people are worried about spying then they should increase the laws regarding privacy not the tools used as they can be used positively.
