what type of filter are you using? you think it will work great with fluval fx 5. Its a heavy duty filter, but I am not planning cut the holes!

@Aquariumguy2011 the coralife turbo twist 12x would work. If u r getting it for algae control then you will probably have to run it 24/7 until the algae is gone. After that run it during the lights on phase.
