Here we have taught Jazz that he must halt or reverse if he feels pressure on his mouth and that he must walk forward when he gets a tap by the girth area this is so when he is ridden he will stop when the reins are pulled and go when he is kicked, he is also taught that if he has not been asked to stop or walk on he is just to remain still I carry a whip to back up any of the aids I am teaching him but it is onlt used very lightly to simulate the amount of pressure that woud be used by a child the appropriate size for the pony

  • Oh okay so this is how they train the little bitty ponies for the little bitty kiddos to ride them. :) Now I feel silly.

  • @horsiegirl97 Lol It's how you can train all of them, patience is the key, and having a good foundation of cues (I trained a shetland up to elementary level dressage but couldn't find an under 5 yr rider to compete it for me lol). I sell a lot of these little ones to parents whos main priority is safety but often get accused of beating and drugging my ponies by crazy parents who try to man handle semi broken ponies around the lead rein ring. . . that's why I started making the U tube videos Lol

  • Thanks, gentle horsemanship and classical dressage is the best, this pony is now bringing joy to a little 4 year old girl and her 18 month old sister, check out my video on Pippen Lol, it has made a few people tear up

  • Aww, he's a really cute pony! I'm sure, once he's fully broken in, he will be great for a child!

  • he's a real sweety lol we made these vids as he was for sale and we had a few families that had to travel far to see him, he has actually attended a season pony club show jumping 45 cm, doing level 1 dressage, cross-country etc. he is now owned and much loved by a 3 year old girl named Libby

  • that's such a cute pony!!

  • He is lovely! fell in love with him straight away. it's good that you're teaching him things like that because some people just don't care how they train them they just whip them and the horse becomes scared but he looks really lovely :D keep up the good work! ") x

  • Почему люди не понимают что денник для лошади это место отдыха! Личное пространство! И это место не должно использоваться людьми для того чтобы что то делать с лошадью!
