LOVE is a four-letter word

this is speech #9 from the toastmasters competent communication manual: persuade with power. i don't think it was particularly powerful--i admit i had a REALLY hard time with this one. i've never thought of myself as someone who is very persuasive, and i had great difficulties in trying to organize the speech. once again, it was almost completely unrehearsed but, this time, not for lack of trying or procrastination. i spent the last two weeks thinking about the topic and trying to figure out how best to be persuasive in 5-7 minutes. i don't know if i pulled it off at all, and i look forward to the next time i try to give a persuasive speech--i know i can do better!
