Same here. Sometimes it's cool just to look through my collection because of the huge artwork. Seeing how much effort goes in to making them makes me love vinyl even more.

Most professional D.J.'s still use vinyl records rather than cd's for the simple reason they sound much better.
The difference is similar to compairing
solid state with tube amplifies.
The vinyl has a much warmer sound as the tube amp. Although I have purchased few cd's this was done on an emergency basis only for they don't have the quality sound of a 12" vinyl record. Vinyl records are being brought back into production
for obvious reasons . Amen

If C.D.s were never invented, 45 RPMs would still be made today and just think of the great one hit wonders that would have been make. When the 45s went away thats when music started to suck.

1877 to be exact, by Thomas Edison. That was 132 years ago. In fact, there were some recordings made before then by a machine called the Phonautograph (that could not be played back until the year 2008) - made as early as 1853.
