remember Mr. Ross McGinnis? my cousin was one of his friends he jumped on a grunade when it was thrown in to the vehicle he sacripised his life for his friends lives. he was baried in Arlington.

i have a lot of respect for mr. adkins, he played in iraq at a base i just happened to be at not too long after we lost one of our brothers in iraq in an attack. i guess after being there for so long and being on mission every day and kinda not thinking about everything that had happened, this song brought home what we were thinking of our fallen buddies. it sucks to lose a friend, and thank you mr adkins for kind of putting it into a song. never forget the fallen

I love this song. Trace has some amazing patriotic songs, and this is definitely one of my favorites. God bless the soldiers who fought and continue to fight for us.

Two years ago I was visiting my son who is a soldier, getting ready to go on his second tour of Iraq. It happened to be July 4th when I saw your video of this song and it made me cry;. It's a very moving song. I was taken by surprise to find myself sobbing with no warning. It's a very emotional song and I thank you for it. All though my son was injured in a bombing, he is doing farely well at this time. Thank you for you meaningful song. Diana
