When I was a kid I watched the Rotterdam being berthed at pier 40 on the Hudson river as well as the Statendam and others. I would watch from the pilot house of a tug the whole process of docking these beautiful ships Really graceful ships. I am glad they are still around.

The music is the theme from The Onedin Line, a BBC TV seafaring drama. Very appropriate. And great pictures too; the next best thing to being there though I hope that I can visit the "Rotterdam" soon when next in Holland.

I am so glad that the Rotterdam is saved. I wish France Norway was saved too. Well, not to worry. I promised France that I will Avenge her, & all the Liners scrapped. Even if it means being consumed by evil.

Fantastic vues. I spent this year 3 nights on her....a really maritime jewel, and now preserved for the next generations. Thanks to our friends in Holland to show the world how to do !!

I worked on the Rotterdam. Started in July 1959 and left in 1963. It's emotional to see her back. Best memories ever. Joop van de Merbel

Graceful as a swan, Majestic as a Ocean Liner should be, Rotterdam being tow back home to become like Queen Mary, a Hotel & Musuem. Good Luck Rotterdam!
