  • Personally, I'm a Democrat, and I also feel that canceling Constellation is an outright travesty. I guess I thought Obama would be a JFK kind of Democrat, but he seems rather to be a compromising snivelus who isn't prepared to get anything done.

Just out of curiosity, do you work with NASA?

  • I don't work for NASA.

I am however passionate about our space program and the way our taxpayer dollars are being spend.

Obama is setting himself up for a single term.. that's for sure.

  • *** Barack Obama has GUTTED US manned spaceflight ***

*** The United States will be STUCK in LEO for yet ANOTHER generation ***

    *** Thank you DEMOCRATS ***

  • Its not Obama, its the fact that Constellation was a terrible launch architecture and was completely unfordable. Falcon Heavy and commercial launch services are the future of spaceflight. With the money that is saved from big government rockets we can actually put money to building actual spacecraft instead of power point presentations.

  • I entirely agree with that. The way Obama's handling things, it's as if he's just continuously chipping away at his chances of reelection.

  • Oh, it's always a gorgeous sight to my eyes.

  • Godspeed NASA, and may the Constellation program be all you expected and more.
