Superman 2 RD Cut - Not the Man She Fell in Love With.

This is the scene from Superman II in which Louis and Clark are trying to eat in the dinner, but have trouble with one of the regulars, Clark tries to stand up for Louis and it would seem also to prove to himself that he can still do so, but in the end gets beat down.

This one scene basically ruined the whole movie. If I were to write the script, I would've shown the first part where he gets suckerpunched into the film booth but then I would've had him tackle the redneck and fight him dirty and had the fight be more equal. He was able to take the Kryptonians easily even though they were equally matched, just like he was equally matched against the redneck in this scene.

Those cafe owners Ron and the woman (his wife maybe) were a little rude not to call the police after what Rocky did to Clark, especially for knocking Clark into the glass door causing it to break and probably since he's caused problems in the past which the woman probably wasn't happy with from 0:03-0:05. (I wonder if they were going to call the police but, Rocky left at 2:32 before they could call). If Rocky is a frequent customer, they should have told the police to come and wait for him.

@JB0523 True but, Lois knew Superman was Clark Kent since he told her his secret identity so she probably loved him as both Superman and Clark Kent.

@DmnDrnll I agree. It was strange for Superman to sacrifice being a superhero. The only reason he sacrificed himself to become a normal human is because, he loved Lois Lane and wanted to marry her. Superman's mother as a spirit thought it would be a bad idea and she asked him if he's sure, and Superman said that he loves Lois. (I may be wrong but, maybe the reason he had to sacrifice being super is if he stayed super while being married, people would start coming to him out of jealousy).

As much as they try, they can never recapture the genuine superman feeling that reeve movies had. The first 2 reeve movies were pure magic, untouchable and will never be surpassed. RIP reeve
