Had a prenatal appointment today with my midwife and she took a vial of blood for a fasting blood sugar reading. This was a great alternative to the Glucose Test for Gestational Diabetes! Baby Boy is measuring at 32 weeks instead of 29... YIKES! BIG BOY.

Hi! Don't worry about the glucose test. I am an assistant midwife in holland and we never use that method. And we have many healthy baby born here ;)
If you get symptoms just get your blood tested.

Sweet mural! My daughter and I love owls! Good job, love the paint color too! Glad you got around drinking that terrible drink! You do look a bit tired, but beautiful at the same time! I've had 5 children and how I looked while pg was much more beautiful imho, than any other time in my life! And other women do too! Hoping your results are good....take care!

You look good but yes tired. I am glad you didn't put that sugar in your body. We have been thinking about you and your family sending love and prayers. I think you look great... and I'm glad you didn't take the test that you knew would make you feel bad -- and that they had an alternative... good for you! awww the murals are adorable... love it!! :-) great job!

I think you made a very good and educated decision. Good for you fo taking charge of your health. Everyone always thinks that it's whatever the doctor wants.
