Scuba diving a cenote in Tulum is a unique experience, these cave systems are giant natural highways that transport the water from the jungles straight to the Caribbean sea. No where else on earth can you find a better opportunity for cave or cavern diving than on the Riviera Maya. The water is crystal clear and the caves are loaded with stalactites, stalagmites and other big formations. The holes are collapsed ceilings of the caves, wich gives us the entrance to the systems, some holes are even over 200m deep, perfect for all kinds of diving. @Myk63 Yes it really was cool! it was one of the most amazing experiences we have had on our trip around the world. i would highly recommend a cavern diving tour to everyone. I originally thought that there wouldn't be much to see, but it was absolutely amazing.
