  • This bring a nob in my throat, Amazing. I am a trombone player, struggling one as I live in a country were people still don't know what a trombone is, well a very few do.

I normally get a "o, that thing", these videos just put that extra "I shall do this, with all my heart". Thank you for posting this, it is an amazing instument with so many ways, thank you again.

  • I feel like I would be doing a disservice to not post a comment. This is beautiful. It really brings out a dark, sweeping tonality from the trombone that you don't often hear. The way this choir manages to fill the sounds of so many different instruments is remarkable. I need to listen to all of these songs by the same group!

  • @hornetpalooza This is true. As a trombone player myself, I enjoy the freedom you mentioned. My only qualm is the lack of respect my section receives from other sections. Flutes, as an example, have it much easier in marching band, yet they, at least in my high school's band, showed the greatest disrespect for larger instruments.

  • @hawkeye2816 Jazz fans have always enjoyed the trombone for the freedom it gives it's owner. Some of the more innovative things I've seen live have been with the trombone. Had Coltrane or Davis played trombone instead of sax or trumpet, it might have been the more popular instrument today.

  • Basses are solid.

  • Why are all the chairs empty???

  • really really beautiful.

  • I say if people don't recognize what a great instrument tbone is it's their loss! I personally <3 playing tbone. Great sounds indeed.

  • This was definitely one of the defining concerts of this past concert season...great job guys!

  • its sad how few people recognize what a great instrument the trombone is... especially the way these guys make them sing
