  • Highland Cathedral is a popular melody for the great highland bagpipe.

    This melody was composed by German musicians Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb[1] in 1982 for a Highland games held in Germany.[

  • Who knows. People play all sorts of stuff on the pipes. Amazing Grace isn't a Scottosh tune per se. Maybe the guy who transcribed it plays both the pipes and the organ. To be sure this is one of those tunes that go easily well with keyboards and brass bands. That's why it's such popular in massed band performances.
