No way. NHL '09 has probably the worst fighting system that's come out in a while.

NHL 06 actually has a better fighting engine than this engine they have now.

@Wizards9517 No it isn't. EA was too lazy to update the graphics for all games for Pc after 06, so NHL 06, 07, 08 and 09 for PC and PS2 are all the same games pretty much (except for jerseys, rosters, etc.).
It wasn't until NHL 10 PC was cancelled that EA stopped making hockey games for the PC.

i much rather this fighting engine then the first person fighting engine we have now sens nhl 10 and still 2day coming to nhl 12

same, it feels like ur actualy watching it like on tv, plus nhl 08 fighting system for the ps2 was the best fighting system ever i think. they outta bring it back.

they severely need a better fighting system. one handed for one, every player is always holding on to the player with one hand (it's hard to fight on skates) and they just swing like madmen with the other. it doesn't need blocking or high and low hits, just swing for the head. they're hockey players not boxers

basicaly it is 06 - xx they never upgraded the graphics. So It's the same game every year

I played it on PC. Its a shame that all PC versions of NHL 06 to 09 have the same graphics. But you can feel a better engine each session, so basicaly I now run 09 on full graphics and when I had 08 it was much slower on full graphics
