Ted Vollers discusses his explorations into the larger reality from his unique viewpoint and explains how the work of Thomas Campbell, physicist, (My Big TOE) expanded his understanding of this reality while supporting and adding imagery to Tom's theory and clarity to his own.

Ted calls Tom's theory ..."one of the most advanced concepts of modern science" A true Big TOE.

Some may understand after reading My Big TOE that Tom has bridged the gap between Quantum Mechanics and Relativity and has stated that they are on the"cusp of becoming a subset of a larger, greater truth" .

  • @stvbrsn Oh my goodness! Ya hardly EVR get to read 'sane' stuff on these comment boards.. Its surprising, & refreshing! Thanks.. You jst helped to give my faith in humanity a nudge in the positive direction! :)

    Oh and.. Here, here!!!!

  • @michelle0225 Quick note re:OCD....

U say u have obsessional tendencies w/o compulsive repetitive behavior?? - Then u might wanna check out (or, look-up) Obsessive Compulisive Personality Disorder or OCPD.. Its slightly different than classic OCD, the main difference being a general lack of repetitive behavior. (If remember correctly?)

I dunno, jst a suggestion. Diagnosis of this wont 'help' you, necessarily.. But may put question 2 rest & ease your mind. - Cuz knowing is half the battle! :)

  • @michelle0225 If its the reapting of the same thoughts and answers, over and over again, as Ted points to, I have had the same happening a lot during my life, but I am able to turn it off now most of the time. But it took practice, practice in meditation on silence, though also accepting that the noise may still be there, but I would not give it any attention, just let it do what it did in its own space. I think acceptance maybe is key to the problem you may have.

  • I wish that Tom, or Ted, would be invited to an event like the Singularity Summit. The depth and impact of their message needs to be heard by a larger audience, and I know that is slowly happening but I think the time has come for the Big TOE to be discussed in larger forums.

  • Ted's mention of OCD depresses me a bit. I don't have OCD as popularly known (i.e. I don't have the "classic" compulsions of repeated hand-washing). A lot of what I struggle with is purely obsessional. After hearing what Ted said around 55:45, I fear I have a glitch and won't be able to turn off the noise of my thoughts.

  • Ted, my cyber friend! Sooooo good to see you! I'm sending you so much love and light and an energetic hug of appreciation. I hope you are well. Love, Erica :)

  • The experience is remarkable in that it includes the illusion of separation from the body but space and distance in that spate is not actual even though it appears to be so. As all of you know, even waking experience is modelled by the mind. Furthermore, anything you believe in has the potential to manifest as reality there, so, if you want to see your idea of a "wider reality" than you will. Why? Because it is in your mind. Mr Campbell is very clever in his usage of words + pseudoscience!

  • Hi! I have been an avid OOBE and lucid dream explorer for years now and I am going to demystify the whole thing for a certain person here who is enamoured with a concocted fantasy by a modern New Age cult who clearly uses peer pressure tactics in order to control the sheep (seriously, check out the TOE site and you will see what I mean). The only thing any of you will discover by trying out OOBE-inducing techniques is that the phenomenon is nothing but a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD).

  • @Ewochable Yes....it does violate a rule of physics "The Law of Conservation of Energy"....so quit saying that it doesn't....you just make yourself look stupid by saying that it doesn't when it obviously does.....

  • p.s. I'm laughing as I realize I never even watched more than a couple of minutes of this Vollers clip. Partly because I found him tough to listen to, but mostly due to this comment silliness! I honestly mean no disrespect to ewoch, or anyone. I just like trying to understand people's motivations, kind of a hobby of mine.

BTW, I do agree with ewoch that TC uses a kind of circular reasoning to justify his beliefs. It's just that, in my book, nobody HAS TO justify their beliefs.
