Beautiful Distraction ;; Episode Four

[[A Week Later]] -sorry for skipping-

Demi: (she ran down the hall and entered room 321) Shane!
Shane: (turned his head slowly towards Demi)
Demi: Shane, are you okay? (she walked towards Shane and gave him a hug)
Shane: (he slowly nodded his head) Doctor said I don't have much time left. (he said in a weak tone)
Demi: No, Shane. You're not leaving me. You're not going anywhere. You're staying here with me. (she leaned down and hugged Shane once again)
Shane: (he placed his hand on Demi's cheek and slowly stroked her cheek)
Demi: (she put her hand on top of Shane's hand) Shane..
Shane: Shhh. Don't say anything. Just smile for me, please?
Demi: (she wiped her tears and forced a smile) I love you, Shane.
Shane: I love you more than you imagine, Demi.
Demi: (she leaned down and kissed Joe's lips)
Shane: (he started to breath heavily) Please take care of yourself.
Demi: You're not leaving now, right?
Shane: I love you, Demi. (he drew his last breath and closed his eyes)
Demi: (she screamed her lungs out, making all the nurses came into the room)
Nurse 1: Miss, are you okay? (ran towards Demi and held her hand)
Demi: He's... Gone.
Nurse 2: (she placed her fingers on Joe's neck and later on she covered Shane's body with the blanket)
Demi: Nooooo! He can't leave me.
Nurse 1: Miss, be calm. Now, follow me. (she brought Demi out of Shane's room)

[[Meanwhile]]

David: Dude, are you okay?
Joe: (he shook his head)
David: Oh lord. Dude, be a man. Don't be sad over that skinny bitch.
Joe: Hey! Don't call her that.
David: Well, Im just telling the truth. She's not worth your time. (he placed his hands on Joe's shoulders) Now, lets have some fun.
Joe: Fun?
David: Yea, let's go to a club tonight and have a little drink.
Joe: Im not interested. Not tonight.
David: It's been a week and you're still like this. What the hell is wrong with you!?
Joe: What the hell is wrong with me? Im sad. Imagine yourself walking in my shoes. Your fiance just dumped you without any acceptable reason.
David: (he sighed) Good luck on facing your situation. (he stood up and walked out from Joe's room)
Joe: (he watched as David left the room)

[[With Demi]]

Demi: Dad.. It's me, Demi.
Patrick: Demi, hey! How are you?
Demi: (she sniffed) Not so good.
Patrick: Omigosh, Demi. What happened? How's your boyfriend? Hmm, what's his name? Shane?
Demi: (she broke into tears as she heard her Dad said Shane's name)
Patrick: Demi..?
Demi: He's gone..
Patrick: What? What happened?
Demi: He got cancer and this morning he passed away.
Patrick: Have you done with the funeral?
Demi: Yes, Im in front of his grave.
Patrick: Omigosh, Demi. Im so so sorry to hear that, hun.
Demi: (she wiped her tears) It's okay, dad.
Patrick: Are you coming back here?
Demi: Yes.
Patrick: When? I can pick you up.
Demi: I'll leave tomorrow morning.
Patrick: Okay, hun. Be strong kay? I'll see you tomorrow.
Demi: okay. Thanks dad. (she hung up the phone and kept it in her coat's pocket) I'll miss you, Shane. You will always be in my heart. No one can ever replace you. (she leaned down and kissed Shane's grave)

She stood up and took a last look at the grave before she leaved to her apartment. She took a cab back to her apartment, packed all her stuff into the luggage and get ready to start a new life without Shane.
She took all pictures of her and Shane from her night stand and kept it in her bag. She knew everything will only be memories.


Hey, guys. Sorry for not posting for a long time.
I just lost my grandma and Im so sad about it. So, Im sorry again for not posting.
I'll try my best to always update my series.
