This video shows the anatomy of the oral cavity and the oropharynx. The soft palate muscular movements are reflected by its dynamic change of shape & positions, tonsillar pillars contraction and uvula mobility.

  • The soft palate is the pinkish segment of the roof of mouth cavity (the soft movable part). The uvula is the small rounded structure pointing down and attached to the soft palate end at its centre.
