Robin Hood's Final Sentence

Storyline:




In the introduction Robin is writing to Marian. Then the video travels back in time. Marian is trying to get close to Sir Guy in order to extract information about the Sheriff's plans for King John. Robin has qualms about her safety but is unable to reign in her actions. As she gets closer to Guy, Robin's concerns for her safety are distorted by his ever escalating feelings of jealousy. He attacks Guy but Marian arrives to prevent Robin from killing him. She is troubled by his violence and tries to reassure him of her devotion. Robin is now completely unhinged by his suspicion that Marian will come to love Guy over him. When she returns to the castle instead of remaining with him, Robin decides he has no choice but to murder Guy to rescue Marian from a great evil. He finishes the letter to Marian and kills Guy. He is captured by the Sheriff and is hanged. Poor Marian, convinced she is to blame, is devastated by his death.




Vidders notes:

This particular piece of music has been on my "must vid-to" list for a long while and I had been mentally playing with the idea of a Robin/Marian vid where he is unfaithful to her. Then last weekend after watching the episode on BBC America where Marian prevents Robin from killing Allen-a-Dale and Edward is killed after stealing the pact, I was moved by the emotional power of those two scenes. I immediately went to my computer and began to work on this fanvid. My imagination went into overdrive. Since then I have been completely fixated on finishing this video. While I feel that my mastery of Vegas was insufficient to due justice to my vision, I still consider this is one of my most emotionally involved and powerful vids. I hope you feel the same and will rate and comment.
