pretty cool but the problems are...
1)it would feel pretty bumpy
2)it would be really slow
3)it would jam or break often
4)it would be heavy and hard to control
5)it would shatter after landing on it
good concept anyway

hah, i want garry's mod, yet i cant be bothered to pay for it(oh, and i dont have any of the other needed programs), if you want a simple simulation program that you dont need to pay for, try Phun, its 2d - but it's still useful

great for fat people that are slow as fuck lol

@themanyone He has. The Spider Tank was just to see if his mechanisms would still operate properly with that much mass. Most of Theo's creations are made out of plastic tubing and empty soda bottles.

it looks like it owuld break and/or jam easilly (braking could be avoided using some high-tech material perhaps, not sure, as for jamming, I'm not sure it could be avoided completly, but covering the holes in the legs would help some, but anything getting between like 3 front or back legs would jam them, and perhaps just 2 would be enough) but of course, without actually testing it irl or with some good simulation program I can't be 100% sure I'm right about this
Theo Jansen built one that weighs 2 tons and is powered by the wind. I'm sure he could build a smaller one that works. But yeah mine wouldn't work because I would probably build it out of Legos.
