First of all I have been here 25+ years and second my original point was nothing about America it was about the fact they picked some real soft sounding Northerners to stick in an American jail which simply made Brits look soft... The capacity to both is only 300 and there are 600 cramped into the prison and 400 in the jail. The rough americans will slice your throat and look at you! Idiot!

@linkspider well.....maybe...but the USA is a big place (texas alone is almost the size of great britian) and different parts of the country can be very, very different.....if you are talking about putting brits in a brawl against Cajuns from lousiana, Los Angeles gangs, mexican/american gangs, you may have some problems.....Europeans and Brits have this impression of yanks soley based on our trashy reality TV shows. It is very hard to say what an average American is, especially these days.

@inkey2 Take the guns away and select a random equal amount of Americans to Brits stick them in a field and see what happens to the Americans; in fact throw a few extra Americans in just to keep it fair. Brits are generally brought up fighting they get it through out their school life and then straight into pubs and clubs later, its a harderway off life than what Americans put up with growing up that is why kids in USA today are softer due to the fact there is no threat/discipline compared to UK
