@vivace737 If I remember correctly, my professor for the class I took on Mozart said it was in sonata allegro form without development.

The connection with Clementi is correct. in 1781, Clementi played his Bb Sonata in the presence of Mozart. The opening two bars are melodically identical to the opening of the Allegro of this Overture
