I have been looking for this song by Johnny for 40 years! My brother had this album way back in the 60's and I have not been able to find it since, You cannot imagine the number of music stores I have gone thru, trying to find this CD. This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I started crying when I played it just now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

There are many of us looking for Johnny's ' Rapture ' album on CD. I was in the navy when he made his fiest hit song. Have loved his voice ever since. And ' Stella '
is one my favorites.

@trendy188 You are spot -on with the "Rap-Crap" phrase. whenever I am asked to comment on the music of today........and even when I am not..........someone cops a blast from me in which I delight in enunciating "Rap-Crap" with all the vitriol and venom I can muster. The sad thing is, when the time comes for this generation to enter the nursing homes and retirement villages they won't get much emotional satisfaction from listening to "Who fxxxxed my Momma" and "Stick it up yer Axx" songs !

Too bad the youth of today haven't been exposed to the wonderful music of the 50,and 60's,before the noise of today,the rap(crap) hip hop,(sound with fury and nothing else).

@musgravec4536 Yes this song Stella By Starlight is a real jewel. You probably know that the two albums Rapture and Romantically were combined and released for sale on a CD a year or so. I just checked the amazon site and see there are some still available. The Rapture album is priceless with the songs it has on it. Thanks for your comments.
