Animated history of the exploration of the North American coastline. I thought would be intersting to animate this with the blanks in the map being filled in as it goes along, the way the explorers would have seen it at the time.

Hi Guys - thanks for the appreciation. this film was just meant to chart the discovery of major areas of coastline. I had to miss out a lot of explorers from the 1850s onwards as the detail would have got too fine. I couldn't really do justice to Amundsen, Sverdrup and Nansen here - they deserve a film of their own. norwegian explorers rock!

Yes, idd. Why didn`t you mention Roald Amundsen, the great explorer from Norway.
Or Otto Sverdrup, another great Norwegian explorer. He even got isle`s named up after him....
