The likes of CBR250, ZXR250 etc are around 40bhp. The much older 250s such as Z250 and CB250 are around 28-30bhp. The fours will always rev higher and produce more power than the twins. The 400 fours give around 50-60bhp.

@liamjd1 The new Ninja 250R is bang on 33bhp to comply with new licence regulations. The engine has been around since 1986 and was used in the GPX250R and was nearly 40bhp and was also used in the ZZR250, EL250 and KLR250. Kawasaki slightly detuned it and fitted fuel injection. It is a very tough engine and has many years of proven reliability. The new CBR250R has a single that produces 26bhp and I wouldn't be surprised if it shares its roots with the CBF air cooled single.

You guys across the pond get all of the good bikes! If its not 1000cc and 800bhp the motorcycle companies don't think americans will buy them. I'm jeleous. Nice bike!

@tomismilankovic i got mine restricted, kept the certificate and took them out as soon as i got it home...pigs cant argue if you have the certificate. even if you dont have the certificate its the polices job to prove you have it restricted and 9/10 times they wont bother with all the hassle and paperwork...but it all depends were you live, some of them will make u strip the engine down 2 the restricters on the side of the road...wankers

@MRZXR400 I've got an ex400 / ninja400 jap import and I can pop wheelies just by leaning back and winding the throttle open.... zxr doesnt have the same torque ? wierd..

0-60 mph on a restricted zxr400 is around 7 seconds, tops out at 110 mph
Nice ones! How you pull the wheelie, with the clutch??

Its not me, but yep, the only way you can do it is to slip the clutch on a ZXR.
