Set in 2069, Syndicate takes players into a dark, Machiavellian world run without government oversight with many syndicates vying for total dominance of their local market place. In the world of Syndicate, everything is digitally connected, including the people. Players aren't limited to the weapons in their hands. I admit, I'm curious. However, I've seen nothing here that would make this a day one purchase for me. Thus far, I'm seeing some decent ideas, but nothing that makes this stand out. It just feels like an utterly generic shooter with a few not-so-interesting superpowers mixed in.
