Learn how to install an upper ball joint slash upper control arm on a 95 Honda Accord.

NOTE: For the 5th gen Accord (94-97) you can NOT just remove the ball joint. The ball joint and a-arm are one piece on this car.

  • What brand of upper control arm did you use? I just bought a dorman from both sides from rockauto as well two kyb complete struts. Any thoughts on dorman?

  • @shinghidd genuine honda parts. i pretty much always use genuine parts for quality and reliability. never heard of dorman, sorry.

  • Is there a way to pop off just the ball joint?

  • @SpoonPrelude for this car its welded to the a-arm, so no. i wouldve done that if i could

  • Dude u actually forgot to show us how to remove the BALL JOINT. That's the main reason i watched this video

  • you have to pull the fuse box to get the passenger side UCA out. just sayin.

  • great video!

  • Hmmm...well that makes sense. How about taking off that A arm? Since I don't have a camber kit can I just unbolt the ones on the tower instead of loosening it on the inside? Great vids btw.

  • @300and2CI Any reason why you had to replace the whole arm? Autozone is charging $119.99 for the whole arm versus 19.99 for just the joint. I would love to save myself $100 if I could just replace the joint. =)

  • good job, great video!

  • @nukem384 its not built like this on a 92 prelude is it ?
