I played the ukulele theme to Peter Houdini, who encouraged me to record it. Many thanks for your advice to finish `projects´, Peter. It feels much better, even with the little mistakes and shortcomings.

I totally share your vision. I write all my music purely on and for ukulele. And I try to rebuild the covers I record, to sound better with the ukulele.

With our ukulele duo The D‘Ukes our biggest challenge is, to show that every kind of music can sound better on ukulele.

@thakoh - Thanks for your kind comment. In fact, the music was made with and for the uke. My approach is to use the benefits I get from the instrument, like the re-entrant tuning, the percussive qualities etc.. I like if the uke has its natural place among the other instruments, not being treated like a funny little grotesque guitar (I´m still in my beginnings, though).

Having said that, I do love the comic elements in the music of Roy Smeck or George Formby. I´s a fun instrument in many ways.
