Solo Erhu Performance at Chinese Gala

This is Yan Liu from Beijing Normal University performing the original composition "The Ants".
The 1st performance was on February 12, 2010 at Constitution Hall at the University of Central Oklahoma.This performance was at the O'brian Performing Arts Center in Norman, OK on February 13, 2010.
The Er'hu is a traditional Chinese instrument whose origin dates back a 1000 years. Yan comes from a long history of family members who have mastered this instrument.
