Get Piano Lesson 3 (Part Two) Beginner's Sight-Reading

For this lesson, make sure your piano and computer are sitting next to each another. With your eyes focused ONLY on your computer screen and your right hand in the Middle C Position, we'll begin sight-reading a group of numbers and play the corresponding notes on your piano keyboard. And to add an extra degree of difficulty, we're also going to flip these number sequences around and play them in reverse! is middle C actually to the left of the center of the keyboard on a 61 key keyboard? I feel like my hands are awkward without the 8 notes between them. Great lessons by the way.

@FollowHim2Lyfe - on a 61 note keyboard, Middle C is usually the 2nd C from the left side of the keyboard.

@DahBossCD - you can just watch it for entertainment purposes if you want - but if you're trying to accomplish the exercise then, yes it would be recommended.

Getting bogged down with the technicalities of reading sheet music so early on would really put me off. I like this way; I feel I'm actually getting somewhere and I'm starting to gain more confidence so further down the line sheet music won't seem so daunting :)
