Sikhs are not jokers or clowns but a class of respected people. Nobody in this world has the right to make jokes and funny stories about them, no matter that person is himself/herself a Sikh. The media today makes funny characters wear turban and make them do rubbish things giving them appearance of sikhs. This is absolutely wrong and should not be further practiced by media. even jokes on pandits, brahmans and sharma/ verma or any such kind should not be practised. people making jokes on these topics should be ashamed of themselves and reflect a very stupid and immature behaviour. i request people that plz dont make jokes on topics concerning anybody's religion , family, financial status, personal problems and stop others from doing the same.as these things refect cheap and immoral character of human being. we have to think above these things and make this world a better place to live.

@TheMorphyrichards That's why GURU SAHIB coined the word SIKH meaning STUDENT for his followers.He asked his followers that in their quest to reach salvation , they should not give up married life and living day to day life keep making effort to reach their aim.And in doing so they would be useful for the society they live in , by making a good example of themselves and showing way to others to follow the same path.Guru SAHIB laid more stress on self enlightenment for people.

@TheMorphyrichards So all the worldly affairs can be well managed if the conscience of human beings is clear. There are big constitutions in every country ,religious do's and dont's yet so much of trouble in world.Very little or no legislation will be required if the conscience of humans is clear.The more the corrupt people, more laws will be required to manage them.Accd. to Sikhism a person should make efforts to get rid of all malice, with help of teachings of God as revealed by his prophets.

@TheMorphyrichards Sikhism says that it is most important to TREAT one's soul or conscience and get rid of all malice , to end the continuous cycles of birth and death.A soul travels 84 lakh forms of earthly existence and then get birth as a human being and being a human is the last step to achieve salvation, if it get itself rid of all materialistic allurements that make him commit malice.Accd. to Gurbani quote KABIRJI , "HEART or CONSCIENCE KNOWS EVERYTHING AND KNOWINGLY COMMITS WRONG."

@TheMorphyrichards Sikhism says there is one God,who is the sole executor of everything, afraid of no one, has enmity with on one, who is beyond the grasp of time(Kaal) the biggest and sole killer, who never takes birth in any form human,animal,plant or else, who is self existent, his complete knowledge is beyond the comprehension of any human mind, no one can know him fully and give GODS exhaustive definition .So no question of my or your God , there is ONE GOD for the whole universe and beyond
