God did not come from anywhere, He has always been there, we can not fully understand this as we are programmed to look for a start and a finish.

In Gods case their is no beginning or end, for you to ask the Q where did God come from you are trying to make God a 3 dimensional being and stuck in time in this dimension, He is out of time and He is a spirit, spirits do not have matter.

Things may shape and convert, and all material may have been in the form of energy once, but material is the essence of existing. It did not have a beginning.
