I dove this setup, however my camera battery went dead so I didn't get any footage of me actually entering the water. More to come

  • dont u see where it says first time.

dont be that guy that thinks he cooler than everyone..just go back to ur burger king job and make me a whopper.

  • @frostedbuts That's understandable - naturally, you'll have different policies & procedures from place to place. As long as the thing ends up on your head and cammed up the way it's supposed to be, one way's probably just as good as another. Like they tell us in Dive school; this stuff ain't exactly rocket science.

  • Is it hard to manouver with the helmet on underwater?

  • @Rennpanzer ya ya I'm always interested to hear about the different ways everyone does things :)

  • @Rennpanzer ah ok. I'm only onshore and in Australia, I hear you guys mostly have your own hats, all of ours are company ones. I doubt very much any of the supervisors I work with would let us put them on ourselve

  • @frostedbuts It basically comes down to personal preference. Some Divers appreciate the help and some don't like to be interfered with while dressing in.

  • @Rennpanzer

Do you guys seriously put your own hats on? Sure you can do it, but why would you? You got the tender doing the checks to make sure you're good to go anyway.

  • Give 'em a break joe.

Of course we all put on our own stuff, in the field, but the guys in this video are still in school where it's more important for the "tenders'" to learn how to put the hat on the "diver" and check to make sure it's cammed up correctly.

Especially since they'll be watching the hat go on more than they'll be putting the hat on, for a while, when they get out in the real world.

  • More like about $5800

  • About $4,500. for a new Kirby Morgan Superlight (I think)

  • whats the MSRP on a brand new version of one of those helemts?
