I am not surprised that she didn't know what a cougar was, that would be because she doesn't live her life through a man, she is her own woman and her and Sam Shepard have been lovers for a long time, and I am guessing she knows a real man, that would be Sam. I don't know why this idiot couldn't have asked a more intriguing question than that sophomoric one!

Cougars don't really exist. Men who like older women do... if some guys weren't really interested in older women, the phenomenon would not exist at all... I am not sure why guys aren't called out for this and the women are.... maybe some guys don't want to be known for chasing older women. I am not sure how attractive the names would be in that case... There is nothing any older woman can do if younger guys aren't into it.
