One String Sam (Watson) was a legend on Hastings Street in Detroit in the early 1950's. Often he would play in front of a liquor store at Hastings and Palmer--until the police would break up the crowd and move everyone off. Thanks for posting this song.

What we are doing is giving money to humans, and not what the money would buy. God gave us the things money buys. If we would all give even as God gives to each other, even as it says seek, and ye shall find ask, and it shall be given unto you, knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Whatever a human asks for they get. When someone asks for an egg they get an egg. All of us has to answer for what we did to the one who made life. Therefore it is to our benefit to be honest, and not to steal.
