This came out at the same time as Pigmeat Markham. Caused some confusion in the store! Both are very good.

I used to jam to this song so much as a kid! My grandma had it on vinyl and would play it on her phonograph all the time, im pretty sure this was one of the first songs i knew all the words too. 18 years later i still know all the words haha.

Remember this and Pigmeat Markham's 'I Am The Judge' out that same summer. Too much of a coincidence, but both got heavy rotation on Radio Luxembourg.

Oh haha they play this song for the little kids in kindergarten they love dancing to it, During carpet time. :D

long lost, I bought this single after watching the Here Come the Judge bits on Laugh In. I believe I purchased this Shorty Long 45 down at Singer's. Yes, the same Singer's that sold sewing machines. They had a top 40 section at the rear of the store. Cool, huh! Sewing machines AND phonograph records!! You don't find much of that anymore.

That's unusual, we didn't ever have Singer shops here in Brighton, UK, but in the 60's I used to get my Motown 45 rpm singles in a large store called Bellmonds, they were called "Tamla Motown" label then as we didn't have all the separate labels of Motown as in the US, great times eh?
