A polemic film concerning the 1990 Gulf War. It consists of a montage of archive footage as well as material shot specifically for the project. Made in 1990 using Umatic, Video8, VHS and Super-8 film. The poor quality is mainly due to the fact it was not shot digitally and several generations of editing results in deterioration. Additionally the 20 year old original master tape has also not aged well.

Made in 1990 this art film juxtaposes the state of nature with that of human exploitation and the destruction of the planet

Filmed on a Panasonic M7 VHS video camera, Sony EVV 9000P Hi8 Camcorder and Sony DXC325P camera with Sony 8000P Hi Band Umatic Portapak

Camera, soundtrack, Editing and Production - Rob Welham BA

Post Production: on Cel Maurice MS 304 Mixer Combiner System with Cel P158 Eric three machine Sony edit suite
