How many attacks have there been since 9/11? I'll ask you an even better question. How many terrorist attacks occurred on US soil BEFORE 9/11? I'm talking foreigners, not Timothy McVeigh. That's right. NONE. And that was without the Patriot Act. Explain that to me, please.

Temporary safety? How many other seperate attacks have been attempted on the post 9/11 United States of America? The PATRIOT act is not a huge breach of your rights. Neither is it silencing you, as per the example of you talking shit about your own country.
I love how you slanted off the fact that our country has been attacked several times, Americans have been killed, and you are still here doing nothing about it.

As for my right to live transcending my freedom of speech. That kind of thinking is exactly what's wrong with this country. Benjamin Franklin said it best. "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
So, I'll tell you what. When someone attacks our soil, I'll be right there fighting. Until then, don't go bombing civilians and then say it's to protect my liberties.

@Arondeus I think you're right to live immedietly transcends you're right of speech, something our military when not actively engaged to the people that wouldn't frankly give a damn, or give you a second to "talk it out" before they tore you apart.
We saw this act several times, 1991 WTC bombings, 2000 USS COLE, 9/11 2001, each taking American lives, not freedom of speech.
Have you traveled to any third world countries?
