The Atheists Are Revolting!

From The Rational Response Squad to The Blasphemy Challenge. From The God Delusion to The End of Faith and The God Who Wasn't There, atheists are on the move and in the news. Authors such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris, and documentary maker Brian Flemming, have set the tone for modern atheism, daring to openly challenge religion in society and to demand equal air time in an increasingly intolerant religious/political environment.

Now outspoken atheist Nick Gisburne has written a book for atheists everywhere, at times openly parodying Christianity, but always keeping both eyes firmly on the central, serious theme: give no respect to a belief system based on ancient myths, for which there is no proof. This book hacks at the shiny veneer of 'God is love' and reveals a mythical being with Mafia-like qualities, and the true message of the Christian religion: 'serve God or burn'.

Part of the rising phenomenon known as the YouTube Atheists, popular video blogger Nick Gisburne was controversially banned from the site in 2007, but returns with a feast of short, sharp arguments to rattle the foundations of Christianity. This book is a literary middle finger for atheists to raise up high in heated debates with the faithful.

Look out, The Atheists Are Revolting!

PS All characters in this video are portrayed with the greatest of respect and admiration!

  • @JonathanSharman Yuuuuup

  • @Aresftfun Oh, my mistake. Then, yes, I agree. But then again, to stop theism would be just as fascist and just as harmful to free thought, in principle.

  • @JonathanSharman There's been a misunderstanding.

Forcing atheism to end would be fascist.

  • @Aresftfun Not all religious people are not free-thinkers. I consider myself to be both religious and free-thinking. I have consciously chosen to follow a religion, and I decided upon self-reflection and philosophical and religious study/discourse that I am a person of faith. Fascist thought -/-> religious thought, and atheist thought -/-> non-fascist thought. (continued)

  • @JonathanSharman It has a slight connection but not an overall effective one. However, fascist thinking would likely stop scientific advancement, especially given the unethical misguidance of non-free thinking.

    Wouldn't you agree?

  • @Aresftfun What on earth does atheism have to do with science and knowledge?

  • Has any person on the planet actually sat through this? Or did you get up and start dancing!?

  • To stop atheism is to stop science and knowledge. hehe onelessgod hehe

  • This song reminds me of "We sing heil THPPPT in the fuhrer's face"

  • you're*
